“We hired Last Stop for our move from Lacombe to Cochrane. The estimate provided was accurate with our move coming in under the estimate, The move itself went very well. A team of 5 movers arrived on time and worked hard to get the job done quickly. The delivery went well with the team making sure we were completely satisfied before leaving. The only issue we had was a lack of communication as to when the team would arrive to deliver. Otherwise we are completely satisfied before leaving.”

“Polite, prompt and professional service. The young crew worked tirelessly, and actually finished the move ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Last Stop Moving”
“Moving is one of the most stressful experiences, but Last Stop Moving made it so much easier. My movers, Dave and Chol, were absolutely fantastic. They worked incredibly hard all day, and despite the physically demanding work, they remained friendly, positive, and professional from start to finish. It's not easy to maintain such a pleasant attitude while doing such tough work, and I really appreciated how respectful and courteous they were throughout the move. I also want to recognize Donte in customer service. He went above and beyond to coordinate a pickup time that fit perfectly with my apartment move-out schedule, allowing the cleaners to arrive right after the movers finished. That coordination made a huge difference and took a lot of stress off my shoulders. Donte even provided me with extra moving boxes, which was another thoughtful gesture that really helped. From beginning to end, the entire team was organized, accommodating, and genuinely cared about providing great service. I highly recommend Last Stop Moving to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving company in Edmonton. Thank you, Dave, Chol, Donte, and the whole team for making my move such a positive experience!”
“Sami, Ezra, Brendan, Germay, Gindi were super! We had stuff going to the new location, some in storage and some moved from basement to garage. Sami confirmed where everything goes as soon as they arrived. No wasting. The crew assessed the area, placed floor mats and took care wrapping everything. They made sure the correct items were moved and placed at the right spot. I appreciate that they asked when they were unsure. Great service! Will definitely use them again!”
“Daniel, Owen and Mohammad help me move today. The boss owes them a raise! Great job guys, it went really smooth. Thanks for all your help!”

Spruce Grove sits about 11 kilometres west of Edmonton's city limits along Highway 16A, and it is one of the fastest-growing cities in the metro — which is the single most useful thing to know about moving here. Half the city is established and easy: Spruce Village, Woodhaven, Deer Park and Hilldowns have settled streets, mature trees, and predictable access. The other half is brand new. Copperhaven, Greenbury, Harvest Ridge, Prescott and Tonewood are still being built out, and a new-build move there means fresh sod that a loaded truck will sink into, boulevards we cannot park on, lanes that were gravel last month, and contractor trucks already occupying the frontage. We ask about your street before the day, not on it. Grove Drive and McLeod Avenue are the arteries we route around, and the Tri Leisure Centre is the landmark everyone gives us.

Spruce Grove has roughly doubled in a generation, and moving here means dealing with a city that is half settled and half construction site. We plan for both.
Two kinds of Spruce Grove move
Postal codes here run on the T7X and T7Y prefixes, and the practical divide is age of neighbourhood.
Established Spruce Grove — Spruce Village, Woodhaven, Deer Park, Hilldowns, Brookwood, Grove Meadows, City Centre. Finished streets, mature landscaping, real driveways, back lanes where they exist. These are clean, predictable jobs. The main constraints are tree canopy over the street and the occasional tight cul-de-sac.
New-build Spruce Grove — Copperhaven, Greenbury, Harvest Ridge, Prescott, Tonewood, Fieldstone, Hawthorne. Wide roads and easy sightlines, but active construction: soft new sod that a loaded five-ton will absolutely rut, boulevards that need to stay clear, lanes that are still gravel, and framing crews already parked across the frontage. We confirm truck approach before the day so the first ten minutes are not spent solving a parking problem.
Moving between Spruce Grove and Edmonton
Highway 16A into the Yellowhead is the spine of this run, and it is the one we make most often — Edmonton families heading west for more space, and Spruce Grove residents heading into the city. It is a short, uncomplicated leg for a loaded truck, and it is why Spruce Grove is genuinely local pricing for us rather than an out-of-town surcharge.
The one thing worth planning around: the 16A/Yellowhead corridor carries commuter volume both directions at peak, and it carries commercial traffic all day. For a same-day possession or a tight condo handover, we schedule the loaded leg outside the worst of it.
Moving within the Tri-Region
Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County function as one community, and we treat them that way. Spruce Grove to Stony Plain is one of the shortest paid moves on our board. Acreage moves out into Parkland County are a different animal — gravel approaches, long carries from the truck to the door, shops and outbuildings with their own contents — and we scope those properly on the estimate instead of discovering them on the day.
Long-distance moves from Spruce Grove
Sitting on the Yellowhead is useful. It is the direct route west toward Jasper and BC, and we run long-distance jobs out of Spruce Grove to the Lower Mainland and the Okanagan, plus Calgary and Red Deer south on the QE2 and Saskatchewan and Manitoba east. Same written estimate, same crew, one point of contact.
The standard, on every Spruce Grove job
- Written upfront estimate approved before we load, typically within about 4% of the final invoice when you’re packed and ready.
- Everything pad-wrapped — furniture, appliances, awkward pieces.
- Our own trained, uniformed, insured crews.
- Weekend and month-end dates, which is when most possessions here close.

Moving in Spruce Grove — FAQs
Do you charge extra to come out to Spruce Grove?
No. Spruce Grove is core service area — a straight run west on Highway 16A. Same local rates, same written upfront estimate as any Edmonton move.
We are moving into a brand-new build in Copperhaven or Greenbury. Anything you need to know?
Yes, and it helps a lot: tell us whether the lane and driveway are finished, whether the sod is new, and where contractors are parking. New subdivisions are easy to work when we plan the approach and hard when we do not.
Can you do a Spruce Grove to Stony Plain move, or the other way?
All the time — the two are neighbours and it is one of our shorter jobs. We cover the whole Tri-Region including Parkland County acreages.
Do you handle acreage moves west of Spruce Grove?
Yes. Acreage moves usually mean gravel approaches, longer carries, and outbuildings as well as the house, so we scope those on the estimate rather than guessing.
