Sherwood Park is the urban heart of Strathcona County — technically a hamlet, and one of the largest in Canada, with more than 75,000 residents sitting immediately east of Edmonton. That makes it one of our busiest runs: in via the Sherwood Park Freeway, Baseline Road, or the Anthony Henday, and out to anywhere in the metro. The Park is really two towns in one for movers. The Sherwood Park Freeway and Baseline Road are the fastest ways in and out for most addresses; the Anthony Henday is better when we are working the south end near Emerald Hills or coming up from our yard in south Edmonton.
What we actually plan around is traffic, not distance. Highway 21 and Baseline Road carry heavy commuter and industrial traffic toward Refinery Row and Alberta’s Industrial Heartland, and shift change turns an easy 20-minute leg into something much longer. When your move is time-sensitive — a same-day possession, a keys-at-noon condo handover — we schedule the loaded run outside those windows.
