“We hired Last Stop for our move from Lacombe to Cochrane. The estimate provided was accurate with our move coming in under the estimate, The move itself went very well. A team of 5 movers arrived on time and worked hard to get the job done quickly. The delivery went well with the team making sure we were completely satisfied before leaving. The only issue we had was a lack of communication as to when the team would arrive to deliver. Otherwise we are completely satisfied before leaving.”

“Polite, prompt and professional service. The young crew worked tirelessly, and actually finished the move ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Last Stop Moving”
“Moving is one of the most stressful experiences, but Last Stop Moving made it so much easier. My movers, Dave and Chol, were absolutely fantastic. They worked incredibly hard all day, and despite the physically demanding work, they remained friendly, positive, and professional from start to finish. It's not easy to maintain such a pleasant attitude while doing such tough work, and I really appreciated how respectful and courteous they were throughout the move. I also want to recognize Donte in customer service. He went above and beyond to coordinate a pickup time that fit perfectly with my apartment move-out schedule, allowing the cleaners to arrive right after the movers finished. That coordination made a huge difference and took a lot of stress off my shoulders. Donte even provided me with extra moving boxes, which was another thoughtful gesture that really helped. From beginning to end, the entire team was organized, accommodating, and genuinely cared about providing great service. I highly recommend Last Stop Moving to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving company in Edmonton. Thank you, Dave, Chol, Donte, and the whole team for making my move such a positive experience!”
“Sami, Ezra, Brendan, Germay, Gindi were super! We had stuff going to the new location, some in storage and some moved from basement to garage. Sami confirmed where everything goes as soon as they arrived. No wasting. The crew assessed the area, placed floor mats and took care wrapping everything. They made sure the correct items were moved and placed at the right spot. I appreciate that they asked when they were unsure. Great service! Will definitely use them again!”
“Daniel, Owen and Mohammad help me move today. The boss owes them a raise! Great job guys, it went really smooth. Thanks for all your help!”

Nisku is not a bedroom community and we do not pretend otherwise. It is a hamlet inside an industrial and business park in Leduc County, sitting on the north side of Highway 625 (20 Avenue) between Sparrow Drive and the CPKC railway, immediately beside the Edmonton International Airport. The Sparrow family established the park in 1972 and it has grown to roughly 2,044 hectares — about 5,050 acres — with more than 400 businesses and over 6,000 people working in it, making it Western Canada's largest concentration of oilfield service companies. So the moving work here is overwhelmingly commercial: offices, shops, warehouses, tool cribs, racking, and equipment relocations, plus the residential and acreage moves in the surrounding Leduc County. That changes everything about how a job is planned — loading docks and overhead doors instead of front steps, forklift and pallet access instead of dollies, and after-hours or weekend windows so a business is not shut down on a Tuesday.

Nisku is Western Canada’s largest cluster of oilfield service companies, wrapped around an airport — so a “move in Nisku” almost never means a three-bedroom bungalow. It means a business that cannot afford to be closed.
What we actually move in Nisku
The Nisku Industrial Business Park was established by the Sparrow family in 1972 and now covers roughly 2,044 hectares (about 5,050 acres), home to 400-plus businesses and more than 6,000 workers. It is a service centre for the whole Edmonton metro region, mixing oilfield service, manufacturing, and fabrication shops that build some of the largest infrastructure used in the petrochemical industry.
The work that generates looks like this:
- Office relocations — workstations, filing, IT equipment, boardroom furniture, and the reception area that has to look finished on day one.
- Shop and warehouse moves — benches, tool cribs, shelving and racking, parts inventory, and the awkward heavy items every shop has in a corner.
- Staged and phased moves — where production cannot stop, so we move in sections across evenings or a weekend rather than all at once.
- Residential and acreage moves in the surrounding Leduc County, which are conventional household jobs with rural access.
Why a Nisku commercial move is planned differently
On a house move the variables are stairs, doorways, and driveway. In Nisku they are almost entirely different, and getting them wrong is what turns a clean job into an expensive one:
- Dock height and overhead door clearance. A truck that cannot back to your dock, or a door that will not clear the load, decides the whole approach.
- Forklift and pallet access. Whether you have a forklift and a certified operator on site changes crew size and timing substantially.
- Downtime tolerance. This is the real constraint. Every hour the shop is not running costs money, so the schedule is built backwards from when you need to be operational again.
- Access windows. Sites in the park often have gate hours, security sign-in, and shared yard space with other tenants.
We walk the site and ask about all of it before quoting, because a commercial estimate written off a phone description is a commercial estimate that changes on the day. Ours does not — you approve a written number and that is the number.
Working around the clock, not through your business day
The single most useful thing we do for Nisku clients is get out of their way. Evening, overnight, and weekend moves are standard here, not premium exceptions. If the shop runs days, we move nights. If it runs continuously, we phase it. If the office needs to be live Monday morning, we finish Sunday and leave it set up rather than stacked in a hallway.
Location and access
Nisku’s position is a genuine advantage. It sits directly off the Queen Elizabeth II Highway on the north side of Highway 625, minutes from the Edmonton International Airport and a short run from our south Edmonton yard, with Leduc immediately south. Sparrow Drive and the CPKC rail line frame the park. For us that means short, efficient legs — and no out-of-town surcharge.
Long-distance and out-of-province
Businesses relocating out of Nisku entirely, or shipping shop contents to another province, are jobs we run: Calgary and Red Deer down the QE2, BC through the mountains, Saskatchewan and Manitoba east. One written estimate, our own crew, one point of contact rather than a broker handoff.
What every Nisku job includes
- A written upfront estimate after a real look at the site — approved before we start, matched at the end.
- Proper protection — pad-wrapping, shrink wrap, and floor protection on finished surfaces.
- Trained, uniformed, insured crews in our own trucks.
- Scheduling built around your downtime, including evenings and weekends.
Call (587) 602-4858 or request a quote above. Tell us what is moving, where your docks are, and how much downtime you can tolerate — we will build the plan around that.
Good to know
Moving in Nisku — FAQs
Do you do commercial and office moves in Nisku, not just houses?
Yes — in Nisku that is most of what we do. Offices, shops, warehouse contents, tool storage and shelving. We walk the site first so the quote reflects the actual dock access, door heights, and volume.
Can you move us after hours or over a weekend so we do not lose a business day?
That is the normal request here and we build for it. Evening, overnight and weekend windows are all workable — tell us your downtime tolerance and we will schedule the move around it rather than through it.
Do you handle loading docks, overhead doors, and forklift access?
Yes. Dock height, door clearance, and whether you have a forklift and operator on site are three of the first things we ask about, because they determine crew size, equipment, and how long the job takes.
Is there a travel charge to Nisku?
No. Nisku sits just off the QE2 south of Edmonton, right beside the airport — it is a short run from our yard and it is priced as core service area.
Do you move acreages in Leduc County around Nisku?
Yes. County acreage moves usually mean gravel approaches, long carries, and a shop or outbuilding with its own contents, so we scope all of that on the written estimate up front.
