“We hired Last Stop for our move from Lacombe to Cochrane. The estimate provided was accurate with our move coming in under the estimate, The move itself went very well. A team of 5 movers arrived on time and worked hard to get the job done quickly. The delivery went well with the team making sure we were completely satisfied before leaving. The only issue we had was a lack of communication as to when the team would arrive to deliver. Otherwise we are completely satisfied before leaving.”

“Polite, prompt and professional service. The young crew worked tirelessly, and actually finished the move ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Last Stop Moving”
“Moving is one of the most stressful experiences, but Last Stop Moving made it so much easier. My movers, Dave and Chol, were absolutely fantastic. They worked incredibly hard all day, and despite the physically demanding work, they remained friendly, positive, and professional from start to finish. It's not easy to maintain such a pleasant attitude while doing such tough work, and I really appreciated how respectful and courteous they were throughout the move. I also want to recognize Donte in customer service. He went above and beyond to coordinate a pickup time that fit perfectly with my apartment move-out schedule, allowing the cleaners to arrive right after the movers finished. That coordination made a huge difference and took a lot of stress off my shoulders. Donte even provided me with extra moving boxes, which was another thoughtful gesture that really helped. From beginning to end, the entire team was organized, accommodating, and genuinely cared about providing great service. I highly recommend Last Stop Moving to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving company in Edmonton. Thank you, Dave, Chol, Donte, and the whole team for making my move such a positive experience!”
“Sami, Ezra, Brendan, Germay, Gindi were super! We had stuff going to the new location, some in storage and some moved from basement to garage. Sami confirmed where everything goes as soon as they arrived. No wasting. The crew assessed the area, placed floor mats and took care wrapping everything. They made sure the correct items were moved and placed at the right spot. I appreciate that they asked when they were unsure. Great service! Will definitely use them again!”
“Daniel, Owen and Mohammad help me move today. The boss owes them a raise! Great job guys, it went really smooth. Thanks for all your help!”

Leduc sits directly south of Edmonton on the Queen Elizabeth II Highway, and it is one of the easiest runs we make — straight down the QE2 or Highway 2A from our south Edmonton yard, no city crossing required. It is an airport city as much as a bedroom community: the Edmonton International Airport and the Nisku industrial park are right on its doorstep, so a lot of the moves we do here are for people whose schedules are set by shift rotations rather than a nine- to-five. Telford Lake anchors the east side, the older grid around Alexandra Park and 50 Street runs on mature, narrow streets, and the newer south end — Southfork, Tribute, Windrose — is still filling in, which sometimes means construction detours and boulevards we need to keep the truck off. We check the street before we commit a route.

Leduc moves are some of the most straightforward jobs on our board — and that is exactly why we like them. One highway, no river crossing, no downtown core to fight through.
What moving in Leduc actually looks like
Leduc runs on the T9E postal prefix and splits cleanly into an older core and a growing south end, and those are two different moving days.
The established side — Alexandra Park, Linsford Park, South Park, Corinthia Park, the streets around 50 Street — is mature: narrower roads, back lanes, big trees, and driveways that were built for one car and a station wagon. We size the truck to the street and plan the carry rather than assuming we can back up to the door.
The newer south and west — Southfork, Tribute, Windrose, West Haven Estates, Suntree, Deer Valley — is wide, modern, and easy to work, with the one caveat that active subdivisions change week to week. Fresh sod, soft boulevards, half-finished lanes and contractor traffic are all normal, so we confirm approach and parking ahead of the day.
Around Telford Lake and Lakeside Estates the constraint is different again: desirable lots, limited street frontage, and neighbours who also need to get past our truck.
The airport factor
Leduc’s economy is tied to the Edmonton International Airport and the Nisku industrial park immediately north, and that shows up in how we schedule. A large share of our Leduc customers work rotations — airport operations, oilfield service, logistics — and cannot simply take a Tuesday off. Early morning starts, weekend loads, and split days where we load one day and deliver the next are routine here, not special requests.
It also means we do a fair amount of partial and staged work in Leduc: moving one household while a second is still finishing a rotation, or holding a load overnight in a locked truck rather than forcing a same-day unload that nobody is home for.
Moving between Leduc and Edmonton
The QE2 makes this an easy run in both directions, and it is one we make constantly — young families moving out of Edmonton for more house per dollar, and Leduc residents moving into the city for work or school. Highway 2A is the better route for addresses on the older east side and for anything where we want to avoid QE2 merge traffic at peak hours.
Long-distance moves from Leduc
Being on the QE2 is a genuine advantage for long-distance work. Calgary is a straight run south; BC, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba are all jobs we run regularly out of the Leduc area. You get a written estimate up front, our own crew loading and unloading, and one person to call for the whole move.
What you get, every job
- A written upfront estimate you approve before anything is loaded, typically within about 4% of the final bill when you’re packed and ready.
- Full pad-wrapping on furniture and appliances, standard, not an upsell.
- Trained, uniformed, insured crews — our people, our trucks.
- Weekend and month-end availability, when most Leduc possessions actually close.

Moving in Leduc — FAQs
Is there an extra travel charge to move in Leduc?
No. Leduc is core service area — it is a straight shot down the QE2 from our yard, and you get the same local rates and the same written upfront estimate as an Edmonton move.
Can you work around airport or Nisku shift schedules?
Yes. A lot of our Leduc customers work rotations at the airport or in Nisku, so early starts and weekend moves are normal for us. Tell us the window that works and we will build the day around it.
Do you move new-build homes in Southfork, Tribute, or Windrose?
Regularly. New subdivisions can still have unfinished lanes, soft boulevards, and tight construction access, so we confirm truck approach and parking before the day rather than discovering it on arrival.
Can you move us from Leduc to another province?
Yes. We run long-distance moves out of Leduc to BC, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, plus Calgary and the rest of Alberta, with the same crew handling the load rather than a broker handoff.
